San Diego DUI Suspect Caused 2 Deaths and Receives 15 Years

A 19-year-old teenage man was convicted of causing a crash that killed two people because he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was recently sentenced to 15 years in prison for this crime, advised a San Diego DUI lawyer. Woman Arrested For DUI

San Diego DUI Man Faces Six Years

Last year and Cartmell Mountain Ranch a man who was drunk driving in this suburb of San Diego injured six other people. Recently he was sentenced to six years in prison for this offense. The 57-year-old man was convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony DUI charges coming from his collision that injured six people and killed a 65-year-old man. The man who was killed was a married father of five who had just retired after working two jobs for 20 years to support his family. In what was an emotional hearing at the San Diego Superior Court House, the judge sentenced a man to the middle term available under law because of his lack of criminal record, his previous time serving in the Marines, and his contributions to the local community. Football Player Charged with DUI

Joe Joseph, a professional football player for the Washington Redskins was arrested on charges of driving under the influence less than 24 hours after playing in NFL road game. A spokesman for the county Sheriff's office said that Joe Joseph was booked in the early morning hours Monday after deputies responded to a report of a single vehicle accident. San Diego New Years Holiday Weekend DUI Report

According to the California Highway Patrol, the San Diego County traffic accident report over the three-day New Year's holiday weekend stated that one person was killed and 60 others were arrested for San Diego DUI. These numbers were according to the California Highway Patrol report starting Friday evening at 6 PM and ending at 11:59 PM on Sunday. The deaths occurred in the early morning hours on Saturday in La Mesa in which a 53-year-old man was hit by a car while walking across the street. The driver was then arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. It is unknown if he secured a San Diego drunk driving attorney. According to the CHP officers report from the previous year, officers arrested 101 DUI suspects and 3 people were killed in San Diego. Throughout the state of California, CHP officers arrested 961 DUI suspects and 25 deaths on the roadways over the holiday weekend. CHP Boosts San Diego DUI Patrols for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and the California Highway Patrol in San Diego County arrested 54 people for suspicion of drunk driving. Fortunately there were no deaths recorded. When comparing these numbers to the previous year, 52 arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and two deaths were recorded. Throughout the entire state of California 809 suspicion of drunk driving arrests were made and 11 deaths according to the CHP.
