CHP Boosts San Diego DUI Patrols for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and the California Highway Patrol in San Diego County arrested 54 people for suspicion of drunk driving. Fortunately there were no deaths recorded. When comparing these numbers to the previous year, 52 arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and two deaths were recorded.

Throughout the entire state of California 809 suspicion of drunk driving arrests were made and 11 deaths according to the CHP. During the same period last year there were 813 arrests for DUI and 17 deaths recorded, advised a San Diego DUI Lawyer.

According to the California Highway Patrol and increase in the number of people driving under the influence throughout the holiday weekend will likely continue and could result in needing a DUI attorney San Diego.
